Raddenstiles has been recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) as giving ‘outstanding’ service in its in-patient care.
Raddenstiles had its General Practice accreditation inspection in May 2018 and was then awarded an ‘Outstanding Client Service’ award in October 2018. With the ‘Outstanding In-patient Service’ award, Raddenstiles is one of very few accredited veterinary General Practices in the county to have two ‘outstanding’ service awards.
This award is very much a team effort which assesses the quality of work in a number of fields including anaesthesia, dentistry, nursing, infection control, in-patient care, pain relief and surgery. The ‘outstanding’ award is only given to practices who achieve in excess of 80% in each and every area covered.
Clinical Director, Chris Ridge said “this award is a fitting tribute to the professional and dedicated care of their patients by all the staff at Raddenstiles, from the way we clean kennels and theatres to the way we maintain equipment, the services we are able to offer and the records that we keep. We have been acknowledged as delivery outstanding service and that is a tremendous achievement of which we are all very proud. The in-patient award particularly focuses on the work of our nursing team and this is great recognition of the way they look after and care for our patients whether they are with us for a few hours or several days”.
