Exonia Veterinary Emergency Service (EVES) ensures that your pet will receive the highest standards of care outside normal surgery hours. Providing the best care to our clients and their pets has always been our priority; using a dedicated emergency service ensures this. EVES is similar to the accident and emergency department of human hospitals. The friendly vets and nurses from EVES will be waiting to help, whatever the time of the night.
EVES has a committed team of vets and nurses who are there solely to provide a dedicated emergency care service during nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.
The vets and nurses at Raddenstiles provide care for our in-patients throughout the week, and on Friday evenings any in-patients that require on-going veterinary care will be transferred in our ambulance by one of our nurses to EVES. EVES will receive all the history and care plans from our vets so that they can continue to provide excellent care over the weekend. You will be able to visit your pet and contact the emergency vets and nurses over the weekend. Our nurses also return to EVES on Monday first thing to collect and bring back any in-patients in our ambulance. This works incredibly well and we are immensely proud of our ability to provide our clients with such high level care.
If you do need to use the emergency service out of hours please ring our usual practice number 01395 264747 and listen to the message, which will give you the EVES contact number.
EVES is easy to find, situated next door to the main Exeter St David’s Railway Station. There is plenty of free parking right outside the surgery. You can download full directions from the EVES website or simply to find out a bit more about EVES, please go to www.exoniavets.co.uk.
